TS5A2053: Replacement of TS5A23157

Hello there,

As I found a lot of inventory of TS5A2053 in ti.com, I'm thinking to suggest my customer to replace TS5A23157 with TS5A2053. The application is protection circuitry of power amplifier in base station. It looks the basic spec of TS5A2053 is similar to that of TS5A23157. Could you please advise if any concern here?

    Hey Ella,

    The TS5A2053 would functionally work as a replacement but they would need 2 times as many since the 2053 is only a 1 channel device while the TS5A23157 is a 2 channel. How many devices are they looking for and in what package?
    TS5A623157 would be a more suitable replacement that would be a drop in replacement for the TS5A23157. Seems to be a lot inventory as well on TI.com. The only thing to note would be the temperature range. The 623157 only covers up to 85C vs the 125C for the 23157.
    TMUX1072 could also be a replacement with quite a bit of inventory on TI.com.
    Let me know if this works for them.
