Hi Team,
I'm looking at the TMUX1072 for an application where the VI/O will be as high as 5.5V while VCC is lower (3.6 or 2.5V). I am hoping that TI has data on this internally. The part appears to support this, but the RON data is only supplied for cases where VI/O is between 0 and VCC (highlighted below).
Maybe a long shot, but do you have any data on RON when VI/O is greater than VCC?
Regards,
RJ
Hey RJ,
After some digging, I found some old test data that shows results with 5.5V I/O and Vcc = 3.3V. Based on the data here the Ron @ 25C was ~9.75ohms and across temperature up to 12ohms max so it holds close to the datasheet electrical characteristics. Keep in mind though that this is not a full characterization of the chips behavior and is not a guarantee of performance. This was simply a test done across a small batch of devices that can help you get a good feel of what we've seen in testing. Testing this on your own would be a recommended step here as well to ensure that it works for your system with the Vcc range and I/O's you'll be using.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Rami
