The CBTLV device uses transmission gates, while the CB3Q uses a single N-channel FET with a charge pump on the gate. This means that the CB3Q supports higher bandwidth, but uses more power.

Both devices have the same pinout but differ slightly in features and in architecture.

The CB3Q family is a charge pump based architecture that allows for a lower and flatter RON.

The CB3T device family supports voltage translation feature.

Yes, SN74CBTLV3253PW can replace SN74CB3Q3253PWR as long as the differences in electrical specs are acceptable for the application (lower bandwidth, higher ron, etc..)
