SN74CBTU4411: Need help with maximum supply current required for SN74CBTU4411 and TS3DDR4000

Hi Team,

My customer needs help with the request below.

What is the maximum supply current required for,

  1. VDD (Applicable for both SN74CBTU4411 and TS3DDR4000)
  2. Vref (Applicable for only SN74CBTU4411)
  3. Vbias ((Applicable for only SN74CBTU4411

  • Hey Nikhil,

    For the ICC/IDD currents, for the SN74CBTU4411 the maximum ICC is 2.5mA and for the TS3DDR4000 is 48uA (both taken from the datasheets on TI.com).

    In regards to VREF, there is no specification listed for this, however since this is fed into an input on an op-amp/comparator, the current consumption is going to be fairly low (input impedance in the Gohm range most likely).

    Lastly, the VBias current is going to be determined by the voltage differential between VBias and the voltage on the H-ports divided by the approximate equivalent path resistance of 400 ohms (see below for diagram):

    So depending on the supplied VBias and H port voltage, this current will change based on these conditions.

    Thanks for the Information. May I know the Constant Quiescent/Leakage current for both SN74CBTU4411 and TS3DDR4000.

    All these are listed in the datasheet. Typical ICC is 0.7mA for the SN74CBTU4411 and 28-40uA for the TS3DDR4000.
