Good Day. I have a customer who has a clarification with regards with CD74HC4051. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

"I interpret it to mean that if the ron resistance of any particular channel is the typical spec of 70 ohms, that any other channel should be within 10 ohms of that channels for the given conditions as shown in Electrical Specs table."

Δr_ON indeed specifies the difference in r_ON between two channels in the same circumstances.

Please note that the on-resistance also depends on the signal voltage (see this question for examples and explanation), and that this variation is larger than Δr_ON.

The customers understanding is correct here. The on resistance matching between any two channels under the conditions specified in the datasheet will be within the range provided (i.e 10ohms when VEE is 0V, Vcc is 4.5V at 25C)
