Hi Team,

Customer finds the level leakage problem issue when OE pin is high. The detailed test waveform is attached below. And the signal frequency is around 10MHz. Could you pls help us check the possible root-cause here? Thanks.

Use a modern device with better off isolation like the TMUX1511.

Hey Stanley,

How is the IC being tested here? What do the traces look like.

What package are they using? As Clemens mentioned though, the newer TMUX1511 is a drop-in replacement with better off-isolation that would help mitigate any isolation issues on the chip side.

So the leakage issue here for SN74CBTLV3125 is expected? What's the specs listed D/S reveal this isolation performance?

The SN74CBTLV3125 datasheet does not specify off isolation or off leakage current. (While it also works as an analog switch, it was designed primarily for digital signals, where 200 mV of noise probably does not matter.)

The entire package acts like a small capacitor, so the leakage is worse for higher frequencies. To makes the edges slower, add source termination to the signal.
