RS232, RS422 and Discrete lines

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX8212, TMUX8108, TMUX8109

Hi Team,

Can you please check and advise with following request?

"

I am looking for switches for RS232, RS422 and Discrete lines (12VDC on/off).

As I explained above, the lines will be switched to different channels. In case 1, input A goes to input A, while input B goes to input B, in the second case, crossover will be done.
Can you send products that comply with RS232 standards (resistant to +-25V, +-15V in terms of operation) and speed in terms of levels?

"

Thanks in advance

Best Regards

  • Hi Furkan,

For this application, I would suggest looking at our TMUX8212 multiplexer. This is a 1:1x4 channel device that can meet your +/-25V requirement for the RS232/RS422 standards. Nominal bandwidth for this device is 400MHz.

Other configurations you can look at are available as well with similar specifications (TMUX8108 is an 8:1x1 channel and TMUX8109 is a 4:1x2 channel).

Let me know if you have any other questions on these.

    Thanks!
    Bryan
