Hello expert,
My customer would like to search for 7-wire VGA signal(R, G, B, Hsyn, Vsyn, Data, Clock) and resolution need to support 1920x1080@60Hz -> 150MHz bandwidth. Topology is shown below. May we know if we have total proposal solution could support customer's 4:1 application? Thanks a lot!
Best regards,
Ann Lien
Hi Ann,
Can you help clarify what "Node 0, Node1, etc" are? Does each node represent a 7-wire VGA signal and you are trying to mux between the separate VGA inputs?
Please help clarify this so I can help further.
Thanks!
Bryan
Hello Bryan,
Yes, each node has 7-wired signal need to be switched. May we know if we have such device could support customer's requirement? If no, do we have proposal for it? Thanks!
Best regards,
Ann Lien
Hi Ann,
Appreciate clarifying here. Based on that, the best solution we can use for this would be cascading two stages (3 total devices) of the TS3V713E (or TS3V713EL if you need level translation). I have drew up the implementation below:
Since these devices are 2:1x7 channel devices, the first stage will be able to filter the 4 nodes down to 2 nodes, then the last mux will be able to select the actual node you would want to be fed to your VGA signal and can be controlled by the SEL logic on each device.
Let me know if you have additional questions on this.
Thanks!
Bryan
