SN74CB3Q3125: Off leak current Test condition.

Part Number: SN74CB3Q3125

Dear, support team.

I have a related follow-up question.

There are IOZ and Ioff in the PARAMETER of the data sheet Electrical Characteristics.
My customer is asking for a definition of off leak current.
The data sheet parameters IOZ TEST CONDITIONS are VIN = VCC or GND and Switch OFF.
The test condition of Ioff is VCC = 0, VO = 0 to 5.5 V, VI = 0.
I would like to know the OFF leak current when the switch is turned off when VCC is 3.3V.

Best Regards,
Hiroaki Yuyama

  • Hi Hiroaki,

If I am understanding correctly, the IOZ parameter will cover the test condition you are describing. The datasheet specifies IOZ as the switch off and VCC =3.6V. The leak current with VCC = 3.3V will be nearly the same as VCC=3.6V and the maximum will still be bounded by 1uA.

    Thanks,

    Tyler

  • Hi,Tyler-san
    Thank you for your reply.

    I also understood your answer.
It covered the test conditions described in the IOZ parameters.
The datasheet defines IOZ as a switch off.

By the way, I'm working on the problem of VI voltage rise when the switch is off.
A 100kohm series resistor is inserted in the input.
