TMUX6219: can vdd be connected to pin 12 (NC)?

I'm posting on behalf of my customer.

The datasheet indicates that pin 12 has “No internal connection. Can be shorted to GND or left floating”. Since there is no internal connection on pin 12 can I connect this pin to VDD (+5.4V) without any issues?

Hi Tom,

Yes, the NC pin can be tied to a voltage as there is no internal connection to the actual device, hence it will not have any impact on its operation. We have a good FAQ you can reach about here about the no connect pin:
