Hi team,
We are planning to use CD74HC4067 multiplexer/demultiplexer in our design, we would like to know if this device supports 25MHz signals
Also for use with 3.3V level signals what should be the supply voltage for the device

Keerthana,
As Clemens mentions mentioned, the bandwidth is 89MHz and can be found in the datasheet :
And the voltage ranges that can be supported are listed under the operating conditions; HC types support 2-6V supply and the signal level that it will support can go from 0 to Vcc. So you'll need atleast a 3.3V supply.
Thanks,
Rami
Hey Keerthana,
This will depend on the SPI frequency being used. Frequencies used in SPI can range up to 100MHz. At 100MHz this device wouldn't be able to support SPI. If you're working at lower SPI frequencies, it would support. Typically we recommend to use a device whose bandwidth is 1.5-3x the frequency being passed through. So for this case where the bandwidth is 100MHz, if the frequency you're using is ~55MHz or below, I would say this device is a good fit. Just keep in mind this is a 1 channel device so you'll need 4 to communicate to the 16 peripherals
Thanks,
Rami
Hi Rami,
Our use case will be maximum upto 25MHz, so I believe this part suits our requirement
