SN74CB3Q3257: Required 4*4 channel multiplexer

Hi,

I saw that the chip SN74CB3Q3257 supports 2*4 channels (Two 4 channels multiplexer). But I need 3*4 channel (Three 4 channels) multiplexer or 4*4 channel(Four 4 channels) multiplexer of the same type.

KIndly suggest a chip.

There are no 3:1 multichannel devices except the SN74CBT16214C, which is probably too large for you.

The largest 4:1 multiplexers have two channels. See this search: ti.com/switches-multiplexers/analog/products.html#p1143=4:1&p480=2.

What voltage and bandwidth do you need?

The Power supply voltage should be between 3.3 to 5v

In the above diagram (SN74CB3Q3257) the channels 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A are switching to either 1B1, 2B1, 3B1, 4B1 or 1B2, 2B2, 3B2, 4B2.

What I need is along with above channels, required two more i.e., 1B3, 2B3, 3B3, 4B3 and 1B4, 2B4, 3B4, 4B4

4:1 devices exist, but not with four channels. You have to combine two two-channel devices.

Use 2× SN74LV4052A or 2× TMUX1309/TMUX1209/TMUX1109.
