Hi Expert,
Can you give us some advice of TI: SN74LV4051APWR
We have received the same PN but 2 different Xray images ..
Also there is dot on pin 1 of one sample while other sample with dimple? They both beloings to same TI part?
Is it because the DC or COO differenece which can have different leadframe ?
Are both of them acceptable
As shown on ti.com/quality-reliability-packaging-download/report?opn=SN74LV4051APWR, there are two manufacturing sites, so this is plausible.
Hi Eric,
These devices just come from different assembly sites. Markings are valid for each of these devices and leadframes have the potential to vary across sites.
Thanks!
Bryan
Thanks Bryan
May I know any PCN or ECN saying about this (different assembly sites have different leadframe) ? Since I cannot find it
Hi Eric,
The leadframes may be different (this is not unusual and TI will often have multiple suppliers for different regions), but this difference does not impact form, fit, function, quality, or reliability. The electrical specifications provided in the datasheet still apply equally.
We do not have such a document as this is common/normal with devices that have multiple assembly sites in different regions.
Thanks!
Bryan
Hi Eric,
Bryan is out and will be back on Monday but you can reach out to either Bryan or me using the E2E message feature. You can ask specific questions or exchange contact information there so its not on a public forum.
Thanks,
Tyler
Hi Bryan and Tyler ,
Can we exahnge the contact information ? Mine is eric.lam@newpowerww.com. Since our customer thinks that the above reply is not totally representative from TI (without TI.com information from the forum) and wants me to contact the experts indivudally for those reply and reply them by email instead of forum..Can you help on these? Thanks for your urgent help
