SN74CBTLV3251: When OE pin is high, what is the state of output

Hi 

I want to use sn74cbtlv3251 mux in my new design.

B1 to B8 pins are input,and A is output.

When OE(pin 7) is high, what is the state of output ?

Is it floating, high impedance or pull low ?

    When /OE is high, the A pins is disconnected, i.e., it has high impedance. When there is no other mechanism to set the voltage (e.g., pull-up/-down resistor), it is floating.

    Hi Hank,

    Clemens is spot on here - when OE is pulled high, the output is in a disconnected state which in this case means it will remain floating unless you manually set it as a certain level via a pull-up or pull-down resistor.
