TS5A22364: Pop Noise when using a single channel

Hi team,

My customer is facing a pop noise at the TS5A22364 Audio SW. They are using TS5A22364 to SW two single ended signals. So they are using only one channel and unused pins are left floating.

Could you please review below schematic and guide me to reduce pop noise? They said the pop always happens when selecting any inputs.

+The pop also audible when there's no input at all.

Hello Jay,

Please checkout this FAQ that explains how this device's internal shunt resistor automatically discharges to GND any parasitic capacitance at the NC or NO terminals when they are not connected to COM. Discharging this parasitic capacitance should get rid of the click pop noise.

Let me ask the rest of our apps team to take a look at your customer's problem.

In the mean while could you answer two questions.

1.Could you clarify what you mean by "The pop also audible when there's no input at all"? If my understanding is correct if there is no input you shouldn't see pop noise because the unselected signal path is pulled to ground eliminating charge build-up

2. Could you please provide more information on your customer system?
