May we have your recommendation for ESD HBM 4kV solution to replace NC7SB3157P6X? I quickly searched for our product and they are all 2kV HBM ESD solution. Thanks a lot!

    Hi Ann,

    SN74LVC1G3157 is the best recommendation against the NC7SB3157P6X. But as you observed the SN74LVC1G3157  is 2kV. Our recommendation would be to use a discrete protection diode near the external port. This would give the best level of protection, much better than even the NC7SB3157P6X. 

    Something like the TPD1E10B06 or TPD1E6B06 would be recommended, assuming you are using a 5 or 5.5V supply. 

    If you are open to non pin-to-pin alternatives, the TMUX1219 may be an even better option which is lower resistance and supports 1.8V logic and fail safe logic. Which the NC7SB3157P6X does not.
