Hi,

I don't know if it is a mistake but the pin name NO description is Normally closed

And if we look further in the datasheet we have this function table

I know that the TS5A3166 is normally open but for my application I need a similar one that is normally closed

Is the TS5A3166-Q1 Normally Closed or Normally Open ?

Hi Dalloshi,

Thank you for pointing this out. The TS5A3166-Q1 datasheet pin NO is normally open. This a mistake on the datasheet and we will update the correct pin description.
The testing and qualification required for them are different. The TS5A3166-Q1 is automotive qualified and the TS5A3166 is not.

Hey Dalloshi,

Take a look at the TS5A3167. It has the functionality as the TS5A3166 but with the logic inversed.
