CD74HC4067: Does this part have input clamp protection?

Hi team,

My customer has a question regarding this part. Does it have diode clamp protection on the input pins to make sure the data input voltage doesn’t go above Vdd?

Hi Lauren,

Clemens is correct and has provided a great FAQ on this topic. This part does have diode clamp protection on the input pins, but the customer needs to take the abs max ratings of the diode to avoid back powering or potentially damaging the device.
