TMUX1574: 2:1 MUX application for External Access to Flash Memory

Hi, 

Do you think TMUX1574 is good fit this application? Thank you.

 

Default Master1 turns on to connect slave SPI ROM and the SPI Mux switch to Master2 when Master2 set the GPIO to control the Mux.

Speed 40MHz

  • SCLK : Serial Clock (output from master)
  • MOSI : Master Out Slave In (data output from master)
  • MISO : Master In Slave Out (data output from slave)
  • SS : Slave Select

    Hi Randy,

    Thanks for sending this over. The TMUX1574 is very popular for SPI applications. The way you have it laid out here, I don't see any issues with being able to switch between two master devices.
