Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX646, TS5MP646
When I check the BW (Differential Bandwidth) specification of TS5MP645, it is listed as MIN: 1.5GHz, Typ: 2GHz, but is it possible to accept 1.3Gbps MIPI signal?

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out about the TS5MP645! I would advise against using this device as we typically recommend choosing a device with at least 1.5x the bandwidth of your signal when possible. May I recommend our TMUX646 here? It is a pin for pin replacement to TS5MP645, but allows up to 6GHz signals and comes at a cheaper price.
Thanks!
Alex
Thank you for recommending for TS5MP646.
Regarding TS5MP645, if we input the 1.3Gbps MIPI signal to TS5MP645, how would the MIPI output signal change?
Does it change significantly from the original signal?
Will the signal not pass through?
Hello,
The signal will pass through, but you may see undesired attenuation. I recommend simulating the signal you are trying to pass to see if the output is stable enough for your application. Just wanted to note that the recommended device is TMUX646, not TS5MP646 in case you go looking for it!
Thanks!
Alex
