TS3A27518E: Current consumption to understand Power dissipiation

The maximum current through the switch is specified in the absolute maximum ratings as ±50 mA. (This current does not flow through V_CC or GND, so it is not consumed.)

Thanks for reaching out here. In addition to Clemens comment on calculating power dissipation, I'd like to start with linking an app note we have on Preventing Excess Current Consumption on Analog Switches.

Probably the most important takeaway here is that in a typical application, you'd have high current consumption when the control input is between GND and VDD, and very low leakage when control input is at GND or VDD. The good news is that you've already picked a device with 1.8V logic, so you won't run into this issue - just something to note for the future.
