TMUX7234: TMUX7234/TMUX6234 PSPICE models missing subcircuits

Part Number: TMUX7234
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX6234, , TMUX7219

I think that the TMUX7234 and TMUX6234 PSPICE models are incomplete because they do not have definitions for any of the subcircuits used in the model. I was initially trying to import these into Qspice and was getting an error for missing subcircuits when running a simulation ("Fatal error: Error: no such subcircuit: i_vss"). I downloaded PSPICE for TI to try it there and get a similar error ("ERROR(ORPSIM-15108): Subcircuit Delay_SW_S1AD1 used by X_U2.X_U52 is undefined").

For comparison, the model for TMUX7219 is a much larger file and appears to have all of the subcircuits defined in it.

  • Hey Alan,

We're currently out on holiday for the new year but we'll look into this tomorrow and get back to you!

Thanks and hope you have a great new years!

  • Hey Alan,

Sorry for the delay on this. I saw the issue yesterday but took a little bit to find the correct model for you. Looks like there was some mix up when uploading the lib files and an older incomplete version was uploaded to TI.com. I did some digging around and found this model that is more complete (more than 100lines long).
Take a look at this and let me know if it works for you
It'll take a few days to get updated on ti.com so I'm sending here so you can skip the wait.
