TMUX1308-Q1: 12pin(S3) of TMUX1308-Q1 is pulled down to ground inside?

Part Number: TMUX1308-Q1

Hi team,

May I know if the 12pin(S3) of TMUX1308-Q1 is pulled down to ground inside when the VCC is not powered but the EN is pulled down to the ground and enabled?

Thanks.

Regards,

Ivy

  • Hello IVY,

    1. So this device does not have an integrated pull down resistor on the s3 pin when the device is unpowered,   however it does have have back powering protection because there is no esd path from any of the signal pins to supply.

This protection is not  part of the recommended operation for this device and doesn't guarantee long term reliability for the device.

There are device with power off protection that we do recommended to be used in when voltage is present on the signal pin and the mux supply is zero.

Please let me know if you need more assistance!

    Regards,

    Kameron
