Hi Team,
My customer will use TS3L110 as a switch for Ethernet PHY design.
Just want to check if customer want to place TS3L110 in middle of position as below.
Is there any suggestion or risk?
Thanks.

Hey Bo Xian,
I'm not as well versed in how the physical layer of ethernet functions so I won't be able to give a definitive answer without some questions.
So my understanding is that the AVD Supply will be applied on the center tap of the magnetics which will bias the line. Typically with our TS3L110 you'll want to bias the signals since the ethernet will have <0V signals and the mux can only support 0-5.5V. Do we know the AVD supply voltage? And is my understanding correct here that the biased signal is what the mux will see? Or will the mux see an unbias signal with input <0V?
Bottom line, if your customer can guarantee that the signal the mux will actually see is between 0-5.5V they should be fine.
Thanks,
Rami
