TMUX1574: Requesting values for DC analysis

Part Number: TMUX1574

Hi TI Team,

We are in the process of evaluating the DC analysis of our product. Unfortunately, we couldn’t locate some specific values in the datasheet provided. We kindly request your assistance in providing the following information.

Full MPN: TMUX1574RSVR

  • Please share the Voh & Vol threshold values that are not in the datasheet.

  • This device is a passive switch and does not have any active outputs. A closed switch behaves like a resistor; see the RON specification.

  • Hi Siva,

Since these are passive devices, there is no VOH/VOL specification for these devices. Signal switches/multiplexers like the TMUX1574 just pass the input signal to the output. The difference between the input and output voltage will be dependent on the current through the switch and how large the resistance is of the switch when it is closed. For this device, the resistance can fluctuate between ~1-3 ohms depending on the voltage node used and the temperature. Based on this, you can treat the closed switch as a resistor and calculate the voltage drop given your application specific input voltage and load current.

    Regards,

    Alex
