TMUX6201: PSPICE for TI Incorrect Number of Interface Nodes

Part Number: TMUX6201

Tool/software: PSPICE for TI

I am trying to simulate this part in PSpice for TI, but receive the following error whenever I try to run a simulation including this part:

I had added the component through the PSpice Part Search, then tried the following alternatives:

These steps did not work for me:

https://e2e.ti.com/support/tools/simulation-hardware-system-design-tools-group/sim-hw-system-design/f/simulation-hardware-system-design-tools-forum/952719/error-orpsim-15461-incorrect-number-of-interface-nodes-for-x_u1

I also tried following the following instructions:

https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/1293205/tlv62569-error-orpsim-15461-incorrect-number-of-interface-nodes-for-x_u1-x_u1-is-a-tlv62569p_trans/4916939?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=pspice%2520incorrect%2520number%2520of%2520interface#4916939

But there are 2 NC pins on the model terminal but under the "symbol pin" dropdown menu it only allows me to select NC for one of the 2, preventing me from continuing

I'm not sure if this is an issue with the model or something else, but support would be appreciated! Thanks

  • Hi Avi,

Thanks for reaching out here. Let us dig into this a bit more and get back to you early next week.

    Regards,

  • Hey Avi,

Looks like an issue with the model.

I took a look and on my end the failures were due to the model calling two delay blocks that didn't exist so it would fail. Try using this lib file instead. I added the delay blocks but it was mostly a copy and paste from another delay function. switching timing look accurate on my end though. About 50ns too slow on the t-off though. Just something to be aware of in case you're looking at super precise timing in your model.

Here's the new lib file that should work for you and sorry for the mistake on the online version and any issues it may have caused.
