Hello,

Does the voltage on the channel input [A7, A6,...A0] has a impact on the quiescent Current of the 74HC4051 when the chip is disable (/E=1)?

For information, on my board, VCC=3.3V, VEE=GND and A7..A0 is in 0-3.3V range.

The quiescent device current is defined as the current that flows into V_CC and out of GND.

The input voltage affects the leakage current (I_IZ). The leakage current applies to an input that is disabled for any reason, /E high or some other channel selected.

I tend to agree with Clemens response here. The input voltage will affect the leakage current which applies to any disabled input.
