Hi Team,

My customer want to use SN74CBT3384C to P2P replace SN74CBT3384A, could you please help to share the key difference between this two device? i noticed one different spec from below E2E link, if there has any other difference between this two device? Since customer noticed the SN74CBT3384A is not recommand to use in ti.com. So they want to make sure they could use SN74CBT3384C  to P2P replace here. Thanks a lot for your support.

  • Hello Jie,

The key differences are that the SN74CBT3384C has the undershoot protection feature, and some parameter differences with the SN74CBT3384A.

The SN74CBT3384C has an internal resistance of 3ohms compared to SN74CBT3384A having 5ohms. There are some other slight differences that were mentioned in the E2E thread you provided, but overall the SN74CBT3384C can be used as P2P replacement for the SN74CBT3384A.

    Thanks,

    Nir
