My customer use CD4051BM96G4 device for a long time, but now customer cannot order it, and work without G4 description.

and we can find some E4/G4 related explanation , but do we have a formal announcement to show we EOL the G4 device here?

Hey Allen,

Clemens shared above the Product Discontinuance Notification. Last date to ship was June 21, 2024 according to the doc. We've also highlighted a replacement part.
The G4/E4 suffix just highlighted that the device was green/RoHS compliance. All TI device have met the standard for many years now so it was redundant. We simply kept the naming the same for use of purchase.
