Hi,

Q1)
In DATASHEET_page 5_VIL, there are three lines with the expression "Vcc = 1.65V TO 2.7V". Is Vcc = 1.65V, Vcc = 2V, Vcc = 2.3V to 2.7V correct?
There are three different specification values listed for the same three conditions, and I don't understand it.

Q2)
In DATASHEET_page 6_△RON Vcc = 1.65V, the specification value is "blank". Does this mean that there is "no specification value"?

Q3)
If there is a mistake in TI's DATASHEET, how long will it take for a revised version to be issued?

  • 1. This is a copy/paste error. The test conditions should be the same as for VIH.

    2. It could mean that the value was not measured, but it is also possible that somebody just forgot. (Also note again the errors in the test conditions.)

The SN74LV4051A datasheet has correct values.

  • Hey Conor,

I agree with Clemens here. Looks like some copy/paste errors when the datasheet went through a revision.

I'd expect the revision to be fixed and online to take likely at most 2 weeks to get to making the changes and to get through our publication process. This may be a little sooner or later depending on other priorities though. I'll update you here

    Thanks,
    Rami

  • Hi Rami and Clemens,

Thanks for your reply. I understand that a copy/paste error occurred.
So should I use the value from the previous data sheet as a reference for the blank △RON (Vcc = 1.65V)?

    Thanks,

    Conor

  • Hey Conor,

I've took a snippet from that section of the datasheet with the corrections:

Working on getting this published now. Fixing the datasheet is quick. Sometimes the backend takes some time. I'll keep you posted though

    Thanks,
    Rami
