SN74LV4052A: Need design support

Part Number: SN74LV4052A

Tool/software:

Hi,

I need schematic for the above part or any application circuit with necessary resistors and capacitors.

  • Hi Varun,
There isn't something to provide here outside of the datasheet that has layout guidelines, layout examples, supply requirements, etc.
It's a pretty basic device that doesn't require much. A decoupling cap on the supply would be the only real external device that would be recommended. Outside of that you can connect the control pins directly to your GPIO source to toggle the locic, GND directly to ground and your inputs/outputs directly to the source/target as long as the current is also limited (25mA). Often we see these device going into high impedance loads (i.e. an ADC) so the current limit is reached pretty easily. But if you are exceeding the current then you can add a current limiting resistor if needed.

    Thanks,
    Rami

  • What will be the recommended value for the decoupling capacitor?

  • 100 nF or 10 nF, whatever you're already using elsewhere on the board. Short traces are more important than the exact value.
