Is there a limit on how slow of an input I can present at IN pin? 10ns/V? 100ns/V?

    This input is not a Schmitt-trigger input, so there is a limit. The datasheet does not have information about, so I'd guess it is similar to other logic devices, something like 10 ns/V.

    Just connect it directly to a logic output, without a low-pass filter.
