LMR14050-Q1: Datasheet Rev B

Part Number: LMR14050-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

the LMR14050-Q1 simple switcher in the latest datasheet revision (Rev. B) have different values for

•The voltage between FB pin and GND
•The voltage between the BOOT pin and SW pin

That depend on the chassis (see screenshot). Can you tell us whether the data sheet revision involves a change in the internal electronics or how the packaging affects these values?

Thank you!

  • Hi Quirin

Most likely it is due difference in package patristics. Typically, DDA packages has higher parasitics than DPR. I'm also checking this with team. I'll get back to you once I hear from them

    Thank you

  • Hi Quirin

I checked with development team, DDA package has device from new process while WSON still uses older one. Therefore, there are few differences. However, if you look at other specs those are same for both the devices.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you

    Regards
