Tool/software:
Dear TI Team,
1. In our design, we are using an SD Express 7.0 connector. Accordingly, we plan to use the 2:1 switch IC (P/N: TMUX121) to support
both single-ended and differential signal transmission over the IO lines.
When SEL = Low and EN# = Low, the D1 and D2 pins are connected to S1A and S2A pins, enabling bidirectional single-ended signal transfer.
When SEL = High and EN# = Low, the D1 and D2 pins are connected to S1B and S2B pins, enabling bidirectional differential signal transfer.
Kindly confirm whether TMUX121 is suitable for this SD Express card implementation.
2. As per section 8.2.1.1 of the datasheet, the device supports a bandwidth of 3 GHz. In our application, the differential signals will
operate at a frequency of 100 MHz.
Please confirm whether the IC can reliably support differential signal transmission at the 100MHz frequency.
