Hi,

I am working in a project with S32G3RDB3 board on BSP 43 version. We are using the CD4052B analog multiplexer in a Linux-based embedded system and would like to know if TI provides any Linux-compatible driver or reference code for this device. If not available, could you please suggest best practices or alternatives for CD4052B into a Linux BSP?

You have to control the A, B, and INH pins with GPIOs. How to do this depends on the S32G3RDB3 (which is not made by TI) and the details of your circuit (which is not made by TI either).

So, is the linux driver is needed or not required or is it enough to control gpio pins. Could you provide any example code to control A, B and INH pins

I do not know how S32G3RDB3 BSP 43 does this, but I'd guess that the microcontroller's GPIO pins are accessible with a gpiochip device, which is available from both user space and kernel space.

What are using the CD4052B for? How is it integrated in the system, and when should software switch it?
