TMUX6209: Can the analog inputs swing all the way to the supply rails, and does that affect accuracy?

Part Number: TMUX6209

Tool/software:

Hi,
I’m planning to use the TMUX6209 to measure the cell voltages of a multi-series lithium-ion battery pack. The mux itself will be powered from the same battery stack.

  1. Can each analog input (Sx/Dx pin) reach the full VDD and VSS rails without violating any spec?

  2. When the input voltage is very close to either rail, does the on-resistance or charge injection change enough to impact measurement accuracy?

Any guidance or application notes for high-precision battery monitoring with the TMUX6209 would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
