TMUX136: COM port status when the device is disabled

Part Number: TMUX136

Tool/software:

Hi Sir,

What is the status of the COM port on the TMUX136 when the device is disabled? The datasheet only mentions that ports A and B will go high-Z, but it doesn’t specify the behavior of the COM port.

  • Hi Jericho,

So when the device is disabled the com port will also be high z

Another way to think about this is when the device is disabled the signal paths between A and Com  and B and Com will be hi z.( The signal path can be thought of as a open switch) disconnected signal path

Here is a video that give a brief explanation on how the signal paths of multiplexer work but please let me know if you have any other questions.
