SN74CB3Q3245: SN74CB3Q3245DBQR example board layout

Part Number: SN74CB3Q3245

Tool/software:

Team,

Can you provide SN74CB3Q3245DBQR example board layout?

The SN74CB3Q3245 datasheet only have other packages, no SSOP board layout.

  • Hi Yu-Chen,

We don't have an example board layout. The device is a passive device and behaves as a resistor with some capacitance when turned on. The only extra recommendation we usually have is to have a bypass capacitor on the power supplies. A 0.1uF to 1uF will do.

    Thanks,
    Rami

  • Hi Rami,

Is there any other MUX device datasheet SSOP example board layout that customer can refer?
That can at least be more helpful for customer, rather than just text explanation.

Currently SN74CB3Q3245 datasheet only has the example board layout for TSSOP & VQFN.

  • Hi Yu-chen,

Oh I see, it's the footprint drawings you are referring too. Yea we can find those on ti.com through the "Find TI package" tool if they don't already exist in the datasheet like we have in this instance:

Find all TI packages | Texas Instruments

I filtered to the SO packages and found the 20 pin DBQ package here:

    DBQ (R-PDSO-G20.pdf

It looks like it's still missing the example board layout though so you can use the 16 pin DBQ pitch spacing and just scale up to the 20pin from there:

    DBQ0016A DBQ (R-PDSO-G16) 4214846_A (Rev. H).pdf

The pitch is the same and the width is the same so you would just add a couple extra pairs of footprints to cover the 4 pins missing from the 16pin DBQ to create the 20pin DBQ footprint

    Thanks,
    Rami
