TS5A23159: TS5A23159

Part Number: TS5A23159

Tool/software:

Hi

We need to use part TS5A23159 in our new design. There is requirement to put output in Low, high and tristate.

Our Design requirement is that COM pin is connected with NO pin and NO pin is in tristate mode. In this condition, COM pin should act as Tristate pin.

Can you please suggest how the output (COM) of the switch will act if Input (NO) is tristate when COM pin is connected with NO pin. Will COM pin act as Tristate?

Best regards

  • Hi Ishwar,

The TS5A23159 is a passive mux. It only has 2 states : connected or disconnected.
Tri-state is typically used to denote a digital buffer that can drive a signal high, low, or high-impedance. Are you looking for a digital device that allows for that?

    Thanks,
    Rami
