Hi Team,

1.When MCU1 sends data:

MCU2 is idle.
SEL1 is Low.

2.When MCU2 sends data:

MCU1 is idle.
SEL2 is Low.

3.The MUX outputs COM1 and COM2 are tied together to provide a single data line that connects to the RS485 transceiver.
confirming that the described configuration is correct? Can you please review the diagram attached below?

Hello Rami,

From your description the configuration is correct and the TMUX1072 can support it.

Unfortunately, I cannot access the block diagram you linked to confirm. Can you provide a picture?

Hello Nir.

1.COM1 and COM2 are tied together, and the combined signal is connected to the RS-485 line, Can I connect it like that?

2.This is the same connection I used in the schematic. Could you please verify it?
