SN74CBTLV3126: ringing on falling edge

Part Number: SN74CBTLV3126

Hi team,

As you can see in the waveform, the min voltage is -616.7mV on falling egde, which is lower than -500mv in datasheet. Is it ok? ANy risk?

  • Hi Naizeng,

Sorry for the delay - this E2E got assigned to an outdated organization name. Please use INT-MUX in the future for quick help.

There is a note at the bottom of the absolute maximum section of the datasheet - "The input and output negative-voltage ratings may be exceeded if the input and output clamp-current ratings are observed." So as long the current clamp ratings are observed, that should be ok.

    Best,
    Katy
