Part Number: TS5A23166

Customer wants to know if the area within the red box in the image is the dummy area, and if not, what impact this will have on product performance.

    Hi Sean,

    The package does have some some areas where no internals are connected but it looks as if the area highlighted may affect the device. From the area highlighted this could cause the device to not function properly. How was this device damaged, was it due to soldering or form a EOS occurance?
