CD74HC4051MM96EP mux/demux

Hi,

I'm currently working on a project that required a pair of multiplexer that would allow the system to cycle through a grid of capacitor to obtain its voltage signal. What I had in mind was this CD74HC4051MM96EP mux/demux but it turn out to be an ICs. Is there an enlarge (that allow it to be place on a breadboard) version of this CD74HC4051MM96EP? Can anyone recommend one with similar specs?

BTW, if I'm in the wrong section please response where I should post it regarding mux/demux stuff.

I've searched around for the part that you mentioned,

SOP-24 to DIP-24 SMT Adapter (1.27 mm pitch)

is that the same as this

SOIC-8 to DIP-8 SMT Adapter (1.27 mm pitch, 150/200 mil body)

Hello Andy,

They are the same package type yes but you will need the larger (24 pin) board because the CD74HC4051MM96EP has 16 pins which won't fit on the 8 pin board you linked above.
