[BQ24392] Timing Diagram and status of Output pin

Hello~

I have two questions for BQ24392.

1. Do you have the timing diagram for device operation??

2. According to "Flow Chart of Detection Sequence", device has 600mS time duration for DATA CONTACT DETECTION.  At this time, what is the status of Output pins for "CHG_DET, SW_OPEN, CHG_AL_N”??

    Hello C.W,

    We did not put a timing diagram in the datasheet because the timing can change depending on how the user plugs the USB cable into the receptacle or what the user plugs into the receptacle. 

    For reference,  the minimum amount of time the detection algorithm will take to complete is approximately 130 ms.  The longest it will take is 600 ms.

    All outputs will remain false until the detection algorithm is complete.  Following this the outputs will be:

    • CHG_AL_N = High-Z
    • SW_OPEN = High-Z
    • CHG_DET = Low
