What should I do with unused switch pins for the TI TS3A5018RSVR (quad analog switch)?
No connect, connect to GND?
The datasheet doesn’t say or at least I can't find it.

Hi Dan,
If you are referring to the analog pins, NCx, NOx, COMx, no, it is not necessary to connect anything to these, although, it is a good practice to add a 10k-ohm to AGND to each pin.
If, however, you are referring to the digital control pins, then YES, absolutely, these must be connected. Refer to footnote (2) on pages 4, 6 and 8 which emphatically states they must be connected.
Also, this App Note SCDA011 will be helpful: Preventing Excess Power Consumption on Analog Switches .
Hi Leonard,
Thanks for the quick turn on this.
Regarding 10K ohm to AGND, is that to reduce noise, floating signals, or what? Also, my customer is not using all of the switches of the quad TS3A5018, do the unused NC, NO, COM also need (for best practice) the pulldowns?
Thanks,
Dan
Hello Dan,
Adding the 10k resistors will provide a path to ground for any charge that builds up on the unused pins of the switches helping reduce your crosstalk.
I would recommend pulldowns on all unused pins.
