BQ24392 OTG function

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24392

Dear Sir:

Please advise what the switch status (the detection table on page 8.) connected or not connected will be ?

The circuit is CPU <=> BQ24392 <=> USB connector,
Condition : To connect the device with ID pin low to USB connector, we support OTG function for this

Please tell us the result will be “connected” or “not connected”

Thanks!

  • Hello Milk Wang,

Please help me understand the question better.

Are you saying that you have another device that will detect the ID Resistance of <10 Ohms on the ID Pin and signal that an OTG device has been connected?

If so, then I am assuming your battery charger will provide power to the Accessory, resulting in >3.5V present at VBUS.

If both of the above are true statements, can you tell me what D+ and D- will be attached to in the accessory? Will they be floating?

    Regards,

    Brian
