Hi,

Our customer is going to use a new power integrity tool.

For this tool they need S-parameters of the packages & Target impedance graph to be able to use it in the new tool.

Is there information (S-parameters & Target impedance graph) to start the simulation of the TS5A3159?

    Yes we provide s-parameter extracted from packages using 3D full wave EM tools. The target impedance (a targeted set value) across all frequency is set by designer according to the switching frequency, voltage supply, etc. The actual impedance profile comes from simulation, maybe involving de-coupling caps. Do you have PCB model already? We can provide package s-parameter model, and if you need more help with the overall system (pkg+PCB) simulation, we are glad to help as well.

     

    Please  provide more background on the pkg and how the extracted s-parameter is going to be used, what is the pkg type,?
