Zero Crossing Analog Switch

Update to this...  a 2 x 4:1 analog multiplexer would work for this as well.  It will be for audio signal selection, so low noise and low distortion are important.

Looking into this a little more, I'll need to relocate this post to the switching team, as the audio forum focuses on converters and amplifiers.

Taking a look at the products here: http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/switches-multiplexers/analog-switch-multiplexer-less-product.page the TS3A44159 may fit your needs, but i didn't see anything about zero crossing. It does have low THD and is a quad SPDT.

I got some additional feedback from a member of this team:

1. A switch that detects the correct GND/MIC/ etc orientation on an audio jack that has been plugged in (TS5A225E)
2. A switch that goes behind a micro-USB connector and can switch to an audio path if the resistance value detected on the ID pin matches an audio accessory type (TSU5611, TSU6721, TSU6712)

Not sure if either of these will fit your specific need but they would be worth looking into,

Unfortunately we do not have a switch that can fit your specific needs.  An alternative is to use a microprocessor that  can detect a 0 V crossing and then turn on the switch when you see it. 

For this use case the TS3A44159 or TS3A5018 can suit your needs.
