TS5A22362 / for 1W(8Ω) audio application

Hi Team,
 
My customer considers to use TS5A22362 for 1W(8Ω) audio application.
In this application, I think speaker load current could be calculated to about 0.35A.
 
However ABS MAX RATINGS of INC(INO, ICOM) seem that it could be up to 300mA.
Is it possible to use TS5A22362 for this application?

     It may be possible with YZP package but you will be operating near the abs max. 

     The ABS MAX RATINGS of INC(INO, ICOM) is max 300mA for DRC and DGS packages.  The ABS MAX RATINGS of INC(INO, ICOM) is higher for YZP packages if you look at note 8 at the bottom of the ABS Max table. 

    If you use the YZP package you be able to support a higher current but you are still operating at the ABS max.  If you look at note 1 under the table "Stresses above these ratings may cause permanent damage. Exposure to absolute maximum conditions for extended periods may degrade device reliability. These are stress ratings only, and functional operation of the device at these or any other conditions beyond those specified is not implied."

    I understood YZP package supports higher current than another package, however it is nearly ABS MAX for this 1W(8Ω) application.
    Is there another dual SPDT device that is recommended for higher power audio application?

    We do not currently have another switch like this that has a higher current limit.  I would still consider this in a system depending on how you will operate it since there is usually some margin in the abs max numbers.
