TS5A6542 Power off isolation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS5A6542

We "dead-bugged" a TS5A6542 to use in our design prototype (no easy task with the 8BGA package!) and it worked perfectly. We then realized that our design allowed the V+ pin to go to 0 volts while there was a voltage on the NO pin of about 4.1 volts. We were measuring leakage currents with nanoamp resolution and observed no evidence of any behavior associated with driving an input with no supply voltage. The supply for the logic translator section was powered. We would like to know if this switch has the same power down isolation feature as the TS5A3159A. The data sheet does not mention this feature, but we would like to understand the operation a little better.

Thanks,

Daryl Burkhard
